Aqualande ensures ideal living conditions for fish with IIoT
Aqualande, France, is a leading player in the European aquaculture business. Aqualande’s breed basins had to be set up as a recirculating aquaculture system due to a legal amendment. A certain water quality is required to assure a healthy and efficient fish breeding. Robust sensors combined with digital services are forming a smart monitoring solution. It helps keeping the breeding conditions at an optimum level.
The Aqualande operators enjoy the remote access to the measured values thanks to the digital service of Netilion.
It requires less cables and offers more options to handle data.
The customer welcomes the user-friendly interface that helps to adjust the water treatment process in real-time for ensuring the best living conditions for the fish.
The Endress+Hauser solution was very easy to implement, the sensors are robust and reliable, resistant to current and fish movements.
The water quality in Aqualande’s breed basins is very sensitive because the recirculated water is filtered through drum filters and degassing columns. To ensure a good growth of the trout, Aqualande decided to launch a continuous monitoring of the exact water quality.
